Why we exist
Most organisations sit in an awkward middle ground: too big for estates to be a side-of-desk responsibility, too small (or too cost-conscious) to justify a full-time Estates Director. The result is well-meaning leadership teams trying to manage millions of pounds of buildings on top of their day jobs.

Spencer founded Brown Consult in 2022 to bring director-level estates expertise to organisations that value a personal, flexible approach.
With over 25 years' experience leading estates, capital projects and FM teams across education, commercial and public sectors, he combines strategic insight with hands-on delivery.
His career includes senior roles at Haberdashers' Academies Trust South, GSM London, London South Bank University, Ecovert FM and Kier Group — where he built a reputation for clarity, collaboration and results.
